A while back I was sitting here with a large walk-in cooler full of flowers wondering what to do with the extras that do not sell, an idea hit me. There are friends and family members in the community that have loved ones in the local nursing homes. Some of them sitting there where the days are long and not much changes. So I thought I would start delivering some of my extra blooms to them. So many of my flower friends have given me used vases and jars and so I am putting them to good use. With a few deliveries I hope that my flowers will help brighten their days and lift their spirits a bit.
